Ever wanted to transfer data across two Mac's faster than over your Wireless or Wired LAN network? You can! You simply need a firewire cable. In this example let's say you want to copy data from a MacBook to an iMac, all you need to do is connect a firewire cable to each computer and boot up your MacBook in 'Target Mode' by simply holding down the 'T' key whilst powering it on. If done correctly your MacBook should have a firewire symbol and a battery indicator and a new portable hard drive icon will appear on your iMac desktop. Now you can browse the MacBook like it was any other portable firewire/usb drive with access to all your files at high speed firewire transfer rates. Enjoy transferring :o)
