Mug with lemon and honey

A sore throat is never a fun thing to have, your taste buds go all weird, sense of smell goes down the drain and worst of all your throat feels like you swallowed barbed wire. Here's a quick drink recipie I make to help ease the pain.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 small lemon
  • A small piece of ginger
  • A spoon of manuka honey

Steps

  1. Boil some water
  2. Cut a lemon in 1/2 and squeeze it into a mug
  3. Cut a piece of ginger either 1/2 if it's small or 1/3 if large and add it to the mug
  4. Fill mug with hot water
  5. Add a generous spoon of honey and let it melt off the spoon into the mug
  6. Mix well together

Drink slowly and breath in the fumes to help open nasal passage.

Hope it helps. If you have an improved / better version then don't keep it to yourself, share in the comments below!
